Hidden Contacts

Hidden Contacts is a special phonebook application which allows you to hide and protect any contact from the phone built-in public Contacts list. The software shows you the contacts list currently defined in your phone. You can hide any contact from the list. If a contact is hidden it will not anymore appear in the phone built-in public Contacts list.





A hidden/protected contact can only be visible and accessed using the Hidden Contacts application. You must enter a password to start the Hidden Contacts software and access the hidden/protected contacts. Nobody can see and use the hidden/protected contacts without to know the password.
It is is also able to automatically remove the phone call logs so that you can have confidentiality for the phone calls you have.
Nobody can know what phone calls have been made or received by your phone.
For more protection the Hidden Contacts has also extended settings like Lock Messaging application or Lock Installer. More, the Hidden Contacts phonebook application allows you also to call, add, remove, edit contacts or send SMS messages.

Handwriting Calculator is a showcase of Nokia’s new handwriting recognition technology.
It allows you to calculate handwritten math expressions with a touch-screen Nokia device (and with a Windows PC).

Compatibility and system requirements

S60, Maemo, and Windows.

The S60 version is tested on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and should work on all Nokia touch devices based on S60 5th Edition.
The Maemo version is tested on Nokia N800 and N810, and should work on all Nokia internet tablet devices with OS2008 software.
The PC version is tested on Windows XP SP2 and Vista. It should work on all recent compatible PC with no special requirement on hardware.
If you would like to send handwriting samples and feedback to the author, internet connection and an email account is required.

Y-Browser

Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 3rd edition Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.


















Currently Y-Browser only supports 3rd edition S60 mobile phones. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.

Wellness Diary

if there’s anything less enjoyable than actually going to the gym, it’s filling out a Wellness Diary afterwards. Like a nagging personal trainer, this app from Nokia Beta Labs wants to know the tiniest details of your daily life in the hope of getting you to swap your pies for Pilates.



The Wellness Diary is an easy install but that’s where the fun stops. The main screens shows (at least) ten separate categories that have to be filled out (at least) once a day. When you wake up, you need to type in not only when you nodded off and when the alarm went off, but rate the quality of your slumber.


Once you’ve done all that, you can see graph views of your life reduced to numbers, track whether you’re meeting standardised or personal targets, and email or text your performance to others.


Essentially, this is a big fat waste of time. It takes a huge amount of effort to keep the diary complete, and beyond showing figures in different colours depending on whether you’re meeting numerical targets, there’s no genuine lifestyle guidance. NokNok’s view? If you spent the time making yourself some healthy food, going for a ride or getting some 9-rated sleep instead, you’ll feel a lot, er, well-er.
